Oaklands Grange

The annual Oaklands~Grange barbecue was held on Sunday 19th August on what was a perfect Summers day. Around one hundred and fifty people sat down to enjoy a 'barbecued' Sunday lunch (and a tipple or two!) and to listen to some first class 'sixties' music supplied by Robbie Dee and the singing duo 'Full Fat Funk', complimented by a guitar solo by Sam Colley.

Both residents and their guests had either an easy relaxing afternoon or entered into the exuberant dancing that took place on what can only be described as an uneven dance floor.

The children were ably entertained by the 'visiting' Clown with his one wheeled bike and assortment of balloons and tricks.

The setting was ideal and a great time was had by all.
